MISSION
STATEMENT
Women of the Word School of Ministries encourages women to know God better through His Word, to grow to be more like Jesus, and to encourage and help one another in loving fellowship and faithful prayer.
Additionally, women will be challenged in their walk with God to study, and apply the godly character traits, communication patterns, and personality traits recognized in the lives of women whose stories are documented in the Word (scripture).
Women’s Bible Studies take place on Zoom the 4th Thursday monthly (unless otherwise noted). (unless otherwise noted).
Titus 2:1 – 5 But speak know the things which become sound doctrine. The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Each month we focus on one woman from the scriptures and practice four actionable areas to reinforce experiential learning:

MONTHLY STUDY FOCUS
Nurture The Fruit
Galatians 5:22–23 (KJV) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Paul describes the fruit of the Spirit — qualities we must nurture in our lives through walking in the Spirit. We must stay connected to Christ in order to grow and bear spiritual fruit. Nurturing the fruit means abiding in Him daily through obedience, prayer, and love.
Memorize Scripture
Joshua 1:8 (KJV) This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Memorizing Scripture helps us resist sin and live righteously, keeping God’s Word close to our hearts. Meditation and memorization go hand in hand — knowing God’s Word equips us for success and obedience.
Outreach
Matthew 28:19–20 (KJV) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Outreach brings the good news to those who have never heard, fulfilling God’s plan of salvation for all. Known as the Great Commission, this command from Jesus calls us to reach out and make disciples.
Pray the Word
1 John 5:14–15 (KJV) “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.”
Praying God’s Word aligns our prayers with His promises, which He watches over to perform. When we pray the Word, we are praying according to God’s will — giving us confidence that He hears and answers.
