At Word Empowerment Ministry, prayer is not just a ministry — it’s the foundation of our spiritual life. The Prayer Ministry exists to cultivate a deep, unwavering reliance on God through intentional, Spirit-led intercession. We believe that when we pray, heaven responds, strongholds are broken, and lives are forever changed.
Our calling is to raise up watchmen — believers who will stand in the gap for themselves, families, communities, nations, and the church. In a world filled with noise, distractions, and spiritual warfare, the Prayer Ministry seeks to create sacred place where God’s voice can be heard clearly, His will can be revealed, and His power can be unleashed.
We are passionate about stirring the hearts of God’s people to pursue Him in prayer, not as a last resort but as a first response. Prayer is the lifeline that connects us to the heart of the Father. It is through prayer that we align ourselves with His purpose, experience His presence, and release His promises into the earth.
PURPOSE OF THE PRAYER MINISTRY
- To establish a culture of persistent, Spirit-led prayer within the church (Ephesians 6:18)
- To stand in intercession for spiritual growth, healing, deliverance, and breakthroughs (Ezekiel 22:30)
- To uphold and protect the leadership, vision, and direction of the ministry through prayer (1 Timothy 2:1-2)
- To train, equip, and mobilize prayer warriors who can discern spiritual matters and pray effectively (Hebrews 5:14); James 5:16
- To cover individuals, families, events, and nations with consistent, targeted prayer (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
- To prepare the atmosphere for revival and the supernatural move of God (2 Chronicles 7:14)
