Short Biography

A Vessel of Grace and Power

Pastor Mary Ogan serves faithfully as both Pastor and Church Administrator at Word Empowerment Ministries, where her compassionate spirit, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to God continue to impact lives. A spiritual mother, teacher, and intercessor, she is deeply committed to nurturing spiritual growth, empowering women and youth, and creating spaces of healing and transformation through the Word and prayer.

Mary gave her heart to Jesus at the age of 19 and passionately shares how the Word has changed her life. Outside the church, she is a Professor at Bowie State University, a Senior Learning and Development Consultant, and a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM). Her leadership is marked by grace, humility, and a love that reflects Christ—her true superpower. Pastor Mary, alongside her husband Pastor Daniel Ogan, is devoted to building a ministry rooted in love, excellence, and service.
